Of course!! Same could be said about all our designs. If someone stole your site and put it up as yours, wouldn't that piss you off? Same with the people who work really hard to create software that people steal.
Also software companies do make a lot of money, but their software would cost a lot less if 60% of it wasn't stolen. Using software to learn is one thing, but if you are using it to make money you should pay for it. Simple as that.
If you must have free software, try Beta testing. You get software for free, and all you have to do is fillout a few forms periodically.
