I am not one but one of my friends is and he has a seriously expensive set up at home. Consists of some custom made speakers and an insanely expensive record player and no not a technics mk2 or the like. It's a player built for certain sound.
If the system does play files at the level an audiophile would appreciate then that does say quite a bit. It's not the prettiest thing thats for sure. Audiophiles will be happy though. There is nothing out there to produce sound from an ipod at that level. Of course all the illegal mp3 files will not be in great quality for a system like this but most audiophiles only get the real stuff anyhow. That market is rather small though, maybe steve is into that.
Either way I wouldn't buy it, but I am sure many will. I guess it is also 5 channel which the bose is not.
