Yup, CSM was good for me. Everyone's different though.
There's a huge yeargroup there but if you push to make yourself known and do good work then the course will do a lot for you. There are some great tutors there (phil baines etc) but you'll have to fight to get a decent amount of time with them (although I'm still in touch with some)
It's really about what you are prepared to put in. I got really involved and ended up organising the degree show and gained loads of experience.
CSM also has lots of links with industry – half of the london design community went there:
Why Not Associates, Graphic Thought Facility, Aboud Sodano etc etc. There are also lots of 'live briefs' in addition to the course work so you get to enter competitions set by big name clients (obviously they are only open to your yeargroup) So if you win you can put it on your cv>
We had projects with: Gas Jeans, Diesel Jeans, Tabasco, Illy Coffee, The Independent (I won £1000 from them!), Laurent Perrier Champagne, Dom Perignon Champagne, some films companies, and tons more.
I hope that sells it to you. Although obviously LCC (or LCP as I like to call it still) is really good too. You'll get special treatment in admissions from LCC because you're on foundation there so that will help you.
