somewhere in between 4 and 8 there's a winner (i prefer how the E works with the cross in 4).
and i really like the balance in #2, just needs to be more than a cross.. maybe add the xtra vertical bar on the right to make it double as a big H..
or right justify "Safe House" and fit the "H" sheltered *safely* under the cross.
