At my current company things went as follows.
Last year we made 2 billion.
We had a couple days last rush that went something like this. 2.6 million dollar day. 2.8 million dollar day. and a 3.1 million dollar day.Come raise time..... 3%.
Company wide. They were promising 4% but instead everyone got 3.
2 years ago I got another offer and brought it to this places attention. They gave me $3500 raise which was decent, but kinda shit in my mind.
Taking the new job I start on the 6th I got a 14k raise. Things kinda work out in the end when you least expect it.
