He is an amazing guy!... so passionate!... I emailed him to come down to my school in October since he was visiting Toronto for a conference anyways.. and he replied me within a few hours saying YES!..
Me and Tom (NegativeSpace) picked him up from the conference venue and brought him to our school.. he talked (question answer session) for around 4 hours straight... standing up.. the guy is in his late 70s... he then later asked us if there is a good Chinese food place around that we could tell him the way to and he could go... OFCOURSE, we took him there.. had a 3 hours dinner with him, with a huge design discussion... the guy LOVES design, the whole time he was talking it felt like he was sharing his 50+ yrs of experience with his every word... later on he told us that he hasnt had anything to eat the WHOLE day (it was around 1AM in the morning still at the restuarant) and he only had a muffin in the morning...
The day with him was by far the best day of my life... i couldnt sleep that night.. literally... He is up there with Muller Brockmann, Paul Rand, Armin Hoffman and Emil Ruder... amazing amazing guy...
