The defining moment of the season will be in game seven of the ALCS. Ninth evening. Papelbon has just mowed the Yanks down 1,2,3 - all three K's swinging. Then Coco Crisp gets a double against Rivera, who has just entered the game. Loretta, nursing an injured elbow, hits a soft liner to center on the next pitch that drops in front of a hard charging Damon. Coco doesnt hesitate rounding third, and Damon's weak throw falls in front of the pitcher's mound and bounces to the first base side of the plate. Crisp scores standing up, and the Sox win, 6-5.
