    when we went into the restaurant the weather was almost balmy; when we came out, freezing. In between we had raw malpeque oysters, some sort of obscure sausage with a parsley salad; guinea hen; quail; striped bass; monkfish cheeks; wild mushrooms with scrambled eggs and bacon; sparkling wine; white wine; red wine; cheese plate; hazelnut something; coffee. The room was approximately 15 x 15, with a tiny loft for the wine collection.
