Matt, your right about Charlestown but its actually gotten alot better. Alot of business people who work downtown started moving there because its so close, and the rent and real estate pretty much skyrocketed, alot safer than it was years ago.
Jamaica Plains sweet tho, diverse. great restaurants and bars. My friend on Huntington has a huge pad!
Dont forget JP has one of the highest car theft rate in the city =)
