when i was younger and would complain about being bored or "too tired" to do much, my papa would pull out this article he clipped from the newspaper a long time ago. He kept it in his dayrunner. It was about a little girl who was born very premature and with some handicaps. The article talked about how it was her 3rd birthday or something and she wasn't supposed to have seen 3 months. It talked about all the things she likes to do and how evident it was that she loved life.
Any time after that, if I felt lazy or bored, I remembered that there were people out there who couldn't do even the simplest things and that I couldn't waste another second anymore.
