Damn I'm glad I ordered flowers for my girlfriend yesterday!
As guys never get anything at work from their girlfriend, here I was at work a few minutes ago and got a package with lunch, three roses, an enormous heart shaped cookie, and chocolates.
And what sucks is that she's not gotten her flowers yet! We were on the phone, she was just making small talk and the package arrived.
I wanted to say "Maybe you'll get something later today..." but I want her to be surprised.
I sent flowers the first Valentine's Day we were together, but not the last two times. I don't like doing things that are assumed...
But on the other hand, it's got to be kind of sad for a girl to not get flowers from their boyfriend and see others in their office getting them. Some things you've just got to do I guess.
So in hindsight, I feel really bad about not always doing it.
