you don't find a lot of designers in BA? try coming to Peru and finding them. ;)
Argentines are also some of the most gracious, wonderful people so i wouldn't bring that up as a reason. the culture is fantastic and BA is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, hands down. it is actually quite a bit like Paris..... well, a Paris that had it's economy devalued by 4000% 4 years ago.
i wish i knew more about the scene here, but i am trying hard ot discover it in Lima myself. good luck.
