Be different?
It's a restaurant. Show some food! Show something that links what you see (within the browser window) with what the content actually is!
Keep the wood background. Drop the middle bit. All of it! Add a plate, with food on it. Add a knife. Add a fork. Throw in a napkin. A wine glass. Make it Interactiv™.
Add some background sounds of people chatting, eating...etc.Dress the content.
