damn dude, sorry about your ride.
i fucked up both rims on my last car. i was driving out to my parent's house at night not paying attention to the road and BAM hit a huge pothole. scared the shit out of me. it was such a major hit i pulled over under the next streetlight and looked at the tires to make sure they weren't fucked. the tires were fine but both rims were destroyed, front and back on the passenger side.
i called the cops and had them come out and file a report. took them back to the spot in the road and he put that in the report. that night i took photos of my car with the date and time turned on in the camera, then went back out to that spot in the road and took photos.
then turned them into my ins and they went after the state.
after a bunch of bullshit they paid for my new rims. $345 each for factory rims. WHA?!?!? I took the cash and bought 4 brand new custom rims. haha.
2 days after filing the compliant the hole was fixed and they tried to cover it up saying there was no hole there, but I had picture proof. Fuckers.
