yo, you guys are all right actually, some good points and yeah working with AKAI MPC2000 XL right now. Nothing beats hardware, but ReDrum is the bomb! I mean you can sample virtually anything in .wav format, even convert to .wav from .mp3 or CD and put a start and ending pattern to it so it fits perfectly. Da Diggity Bomb!
