I know a lot of this sounds very racist. But it is not. Until 100 years ago, the west had no need for them. then all of a sudden when the west needs petrolium, we get all chummie with them and drop in regimes that are with us and not the people of their countries. Put yourself in the average muslim's shoes/sandles. They have nothing, and they get to sit there and watch as the rich west, and the leaders of their countires get richer by the millisecond.
But, look at the total opposite in neighboring countries like the UAE. Very socialistic societies there. People get wealth from the oil in their countries. Dubai is a shining example of a well fed, intellectual, educated muslim society. Night and day from ost of their neighbors.
