If you want to do anything remotely cool, don't come to Milwaukee... The big industries here are health care and finance.... zzzzz.
I do digital illus/animation and 100% of the work I get is out of state. Being featured in Computer Arts, Digital Creative Arts, and How Magazine, this town has done zip for me, despite promoting myself heavily here. Alot of the big ad firms also have the attitude that there is no talent worth hiring in this city. They do have a good art school though, MIAD, which hired me as a part time instructor.
