Albert Einstein from wikipedia
Born in Germany to Jewish parents, he temporarily renounced his German citizenship and took Swiss citizenship in 1901. He remained a Swiss citizen for the rest of his life, but temporarily regained German and in 1940 permanently added American citizenship.
