I agree with Bluejam to some extent however it would be done with the greatest degree of professionality possible. No long-winded diatribes of hardship simple facts only. You pay you get removed from the list. It could scare off potential clients. But perhaps it would only scare off those that were of the same mindset.
The potential of bad PR I see as a highly motivating factor for these deadbeat clients. If we have no ability to bring that to bear in getting our invoices paid then we have no power with which to bargain.
