We took the train when we went from Paris, Rome, Venice, back to Paris last summer. We booked a 2-person cabin and made sure our ride started around dinner time and arrived at the new city at like 9am. That worked out well because we got to enjoy train rides, sleep in beds while we travelled and see the countryside for the few hours we were awake in the evening and morning.
i didn't see on the site, but how long will the stops in Paris and Madrid be?
