this is any thing but a 'global crises'...it's the sort of lingo and context that manufactures escalation. this, suffciently integrated (almost) global soiety will not fall apart at the seems because of cartoons in denmark. think about the amount of protests that have happened in the past over contentious issues, including the second iraq invasion, and think about what 'global crises' means to you
