this is going to sound insufficient, snuggles, but because for some reason I care about you, even though we've never met, probably because of the humor and quality of humanity you have displayed on this website, I would like to suggest reading Eckhart Tolle's book "A New Earth". It may help a bit, if for no other reason than to persuade you to face what you're going through, for better or worse, with clear eyes and an open mind, although I admit if I was in your shoes I, too might have made the same post.
