I agre w/ Jevad, stuff like this for the price they sell it for should be able to last long. I am already pissed off at apple alone because of all the various things that have happened to my powerbook. Metal warping, latch not working, white spots on screen, shitty airport reception. Then finally I get the white spots replaced with a new screen, and the technician who installs it puts the hinges onto tight, which I didn't know at the time, and now its causing the back casing of the screen to open up, there are more white spots on the screen and dead pixels rght out of the box on the new display.
They will be lucky if I decide to buy any of their products in the future. I am sure not spending 400 dollars to get their rip off applecare.
