I did it for a long, long time. 9 - 5 full time gig and then freelance stuff in the evenings - about 8 -12. But that was only really because my job was so fucking boring - doing a lot of banners and stuff like that.
Since moving to Denver I have not been actively seeking freelance work because my job (well the one I have now anyway) is fucking sweet and I'm working on cool stuff.
I also have a wife and an 8 yr old we've just adopted, and so I like my free time to be just that - so I can spend it making memories....
