    So I just got a response:

    "Hi Matt,
    We'd expect you to cover your own travel and expenses for the trip. The good
    news for you is that it's tax deductible (job search expenses).

    Let me know when you've confirmed travel."

    What?!? Is this normal for design firms? These people have some massive clients and are supported by a big parent company! I ain't made of money...being unemployed for 4 months with only sporadic freelance so far makes gramme a poor boy
