won't that starburst in the nib be a problem at press? or maybe it won't be printed?
anyhow, I like the font on the left, perhaps combined with a non-written font. something more modern. right now this font feels old to me.
maybe pull an printing element into the logo (not sure what) instead of the nib. right now, this looks more like an illustrators logo.
i'd agree though, of all of them, #2 is the strongest.
