Still doesn't add up...it's been seriously like 8 years and she still emails me telling me how she misses me but she's workin on her second kid.

Obviously can't stand the idea that someone might get over her and move on to better and happier times, therefore she keeps you dangling on a thread of communication and half assed sweet nothings. if she wanted to be with you she would be, and not boning some other guy and having his kids. It's harsh but true. Ignore her emails and move on. Get with a gal who's into you and aint gonna mess you around. Life's too short to be with someone who isn't head over heels all for you. It does exist, I got it after years of dickhead guys messing me about I found one who is truly amazing and thinks i am too. keep working on it.
and remember, chicks dig scars! Show her yours and she'll sure show you hers etc
