So iTunes and my iPod won't have a problem playing tracks imported as mp3s?

-----------------------I never use mp4a when importing music to itunes, just in case I want to move the songs somewhere else.
Converting from mp4a to mp3 you're gonna lose some quality, which might be ok for car use
