heres are my tests, done with the original images found here:
and
i did a different process, maybe easier:
1. distort picture perspective using Ctrl+T and pulling the top handles out and the bottom handles in holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift
2. crop the remaining holes out
3. apply lens blur on the upper part of the image, blend with the non-blurred image with a progressive mask, leaving the blur only for the far regions
4. Ajust the levels, so you can make a higher brightness on the high lighted areas
I tought that with this process of distortion I can make things that are too far look closer, the perspective effect on things that are far and little fails, so it looks like it's a little maket.
it would be nice to try it with a video footage =D
