everyone thanks for the tips! talking with the Mrs. about some of these options now. looks like we have a lot to check out when we head up there next friday.
we second what you said secretagent; get a place for a year and during that time look for a "real" place. my job starts feb27th, so i don't have a whole lot of time to search. plus have to tie up some loose ends here.
its going to be tight, but i think we can do it. we've been hearing about park slope. gonna check that out too.
