pros and cons:
doing it blindly would allow everyone to be as creative as possible, yet may produce a typeface that simply doesn't work as a whole.
Seeing the progress would probably allow for a usable type face, but only the artist creating 'A' would be able to create the look and feel, assuming the remaining artists adhere to it's style.
