"Tough-guy actor, Chris Penn, found dead in his Santa Monica condo yesterday afternoon, is now the subject of spiritual controversy at a nearby Jack in the Box, on Santa Monica Blvd. in Venice, California. Jack in the Box manager José Ramirez declined to comment on the growing crowd outside his establishment. A spectator who asked to remain anonymous, gave us the double-scoop, "Everyone kind of gathered around the restaurant after [one of the staff] claimed to have seen Chris Penn's ghost digging through the dumpster in the back. And it's kind of been like this all morning." The famous restaurant chain insists that it's business as usual, here in Venice, but the amount of people crammed into the restaurant parking lot, is beginning to interfere with traffic and local noise ordinances. While a few locals claim to have seen the, "hazy silhouette of Chrissy Penn, digging, searching, and eating, once he's found some left-overs," I will remain skeptical about the Jack in the Box specter."
