  try keeping it purely typographical

  try it without the guy. If he has to be in it, then I wouldn't have the shadow. Or you could just have the shadow so it looks like the shadow of the letter 'l' in blue!?????

  try in on 3 lines, like so

  just a thought

  oh.... and try a more contemporary font
