Well, Google is in a win-win here. I think they were getting het lately about what they do with all their data. This case comes up and they make a public fight over it. If they lose, they turn over the data. If they win, they look like the good guys. Heck, just by fighting it, they look like the good guys. I'm sure the lawyers & the free press will been cheaper than any marketing campaign they would've come up with to comba tthe growing restlessness about Google's size and influence...
All that cynicism aside, I do hope they win...and screw yahoo for just trurning the records over - just like they did to China. See corporations don't care about politics or freedoms.
