but i'm no gourmet chef (can do a hell of a BBQ though!)
actually i just thought of a good idea.... I'm going to hand-make her a book. I've always wanted to do something like that. i'll fill it with photos of us and schmoopy notes and my artwork and stuff. i think she'll really like it and it would take her by surprise

there is seriously nothing wrong with bbq. it's all in the presentation and effor. candlelight, nice plates, linen napkins, etc. etc.but the homemade book idea is ace. she'll love it.
