    1. What exactly is the prize?
The prize is a one bedroom flat in Finchley, north London. The address is 48 Grove House, Waverley Grove, Finchley, N3 3PU. The flat is in good habitable condition and will include all carpeting/flooring, fitted kitchen, washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker hood, gas hob and electric oven. The prize also includes legal fees (up to £600 + VAT) for the transfer of the property to the winner and Stamp Duty. There will be no taxes or further costs to pay on the property by the winner. The prize does NOT include moving costs or any payment of the service charge, Council Tax or utility bills.

    2. What’s the catch?
There is no catch. The basic premise of this competition is that if enough people enter, the competition organisers receive enough money to be able to give the flat away. It’s as simple as that. If there are too few entries and the market value of the flat, Stamp Duty and transfer costs are not covered by the total of entries by the end of the competition, the winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of the amount raised through the competition.

    3. Is this competition legal?
Yes. We have sought legal and financial advice and the competition adheres to the law as specified by the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976. Please contact our solicitors, Berryman if you have any further queries.
