beneath all the uncomfortable election BS i truly believe Martin has a soft heart for our people, and a even sharper mind for the economy.

(Jan 14 06, 20:29)martin could care less about the people. when he was finance minister, he cut a lot of social programs. he only stopped because chretien wanted to leave a more positive "legacy" and booted him out. it's funny hearing him talk about policies he cut as finance minister being brought back with him as PM. he's got some balls thinking everyone would just forget.
as a business man, he's shrewd and will exploit every loophole he can. he has the appearance of being a nice guy but it's all for show. as usual, the liberals make promises that they will never follow through on... typical. why should they do what they say during an election, no one will hold them accountable. it's time to dump the liberals.
and to those of you who think the ndp doesn't have a chance, if you all vote for them, they do have a chance. they could be the majority government. there are more than 2 parties!
i said it before, and i'll say it again... unless you think the greens are absolutely going to win in your riding, this is not the time. vote ndp now, donate some cash to the greens so they can get some proper marketing and wait 4 more years. the greens aren't ready and they sure aren't winning this time. spend the next 4 years campaigning for the greens and maybe they'll get a few candidates in there. and hey, maybe donate some time to the party. i'm sure someone on NT could put together a great site or marketing campaign for the greens to compete with the big money campaigns of the liberals, neo-cons and the ndp.
