poomoo, I'm not saying we just ignore the oportunity to study the guy, and that in principal if he can be rehabilitated then what's the point of keeping him in prison past an arbitrary "punishment" length of time (bit iffy on that one though), I just think in practise some people really have to just be locked away forever to keep everyone else safe. Study him by all means, maybe some insight can help treat that 14 year old kid caught whacking off to pictures of dead people, but high-minded principal has to take second place to what works, after a point. imo.
