how are any of those examples going to rehabilitate any of the criminals?
do you not think its a bit short sighter to make someone suffer while ignoring the cause/root of the problem?
at what point are you going to try and help the person or are you just going to foget about the person while they suffer?

(Jan 11 06, 03:55)I'm a strong believer that prison should be about rehabilitating more than punishing. But unfortunately I think the time to rehabilitate this bloke is far gone.
Now it's a case of lock him away to for the safety of others.
We should be doing more to stop people from becoming like him and looking at the cause of such serious stuff.
