shouldnt slate the opinions of others, mothers and the general public.
im assuming you're a designer of some sort. it isnt designers and artists that use or crit what you design, its the general public.
they are the ones who have the useability issues with nice looking designed sites with shit useability and they are the ones that are potential customers to your clients.
i always forward links to what ive been working on to my mum, family and friends to get their feedback.
