I would only buy the book because i like the work.

you make a pretty bold statement and fortunately i don't see things so cut and dry.
i consider my drawing/ vectors skills well above average, but if i want to save myself a couple hours by using, for example, some of the 300+ leaf silhouttes in this book to detail an illustration, i'm not gonna feel any shame.
