edmunds is the place. i was able to get $1000 under their stated invoice, which i'm sure is not the real invoice, but it helps. also line up a couple dealerships that have the exact car you want. mazdausa.com will let you build it and find it. get these people on the phone and let them know what you want and play them against each other.
