does anyone know who designed the old logo? of course it is hard to dismiss these classically designed logos done by designers like saul bass etc... but to say that the old kodak logo was not out of date is just ignorant. the old was big, clunky and would not work well small and on high tech devices. imagine a sleek chrom digital camera with an orange and yellow square on it? blech. I am not crazy about the new one either but i agree it is more modern, though their attempt at hanging on to color scheme does make it seem food related. also the roundedness of the d and a contrasts too much with the sharp corners of the k's
Why do companies think it is a good idea to hang on to a piece of their old logo? if they are changing it, they should change completely.
