I prefer Dreamweaver MX over pure hand coding. Sometimes I think it's necassary to format the code a little better and when working with plain text, I enjoy UltraEdit as a Notepad replacement.
I believe that using a tool such as Dreamweaver enhances productivity. I don't think that any client would prefer to pay someone to work longer on a project just because they "prefer" to hand code it for some internal feeling of success. When the same end result is achievable by using a tool such as Dreamweaver to significantly reduce time.
Of course this is just all my opinion and I could be wrong somehow. Please advise! Thanks.
