    Makes it stronger? That's like saying getting shot one a week is good for your health.
    Quality depends on craftmanship and failure rate. The more pieces you have, the higher the failure rate goes. Windows is filled with small library files that easily get lost, and drive the OS haywire. Good craftsmanship can alleviate the failure rate problem (which is why some cars last longer than others even though most cars share comparable designs), but MS hasn't proven to be good craftsmen, either. In shot, they just gotta step it up, and quit blaming the world at large for their security problems.
