@ tank: indeed you are getting fucked! what a rip-off! i live in belgium too, but my net-salary is about 6k€ a year higher than yours (5y exp, have BA in design).
Also a bit confused about the american pay. If you guys say: 40K a year; is that taxes and stuff already deducted?
