on the subject of amps. If I was serious about recording I'd have one amp for recording and one for live.
There is absolutely no sense in miking up a marshall stack at full volume in a studio. Even though lots of bands have done it.
Vespa, how can you say you don't like the sound of a marshall stack. Not even one of the old Plexi's?
That means you don't like Hendrix's tone which I think is one of the greatest guitar tones of all time. And that was way before all this digital modelling shit.
