Totally agree. Once my band started practicing alot, I really had to change my style a bit.
Being in an apartment playing at a low volume, I always played pretty hard on the strings with a pick.
But having really loud amps, I was doing the same thing and breaking strings every now and then.
Really had to retrain myself to play softer and rely on the volume to do it's thing.
