I have a nice marshall valve amp but I also have a line6 Pod. The pod is really good for travelling and getting a good sound at low volumes.
But I agree these little kids who have line6 amps and widdle away with rubbish fizzy sounds. If you ever put them on stage through a marshall stack they'd have no clue.
Some giys don't realise that playing live at volume is completely different from playing at home in your room.
This guy I know played a gig through a multi effects board that he'd set up at home. But with the band around him with all the different frequencies his guitar sound was lost. It sucked hard. But I didn't have the heart to tell this deluded guy.
