The New Testament is simply the fulfillment of the old. Christ was the missing piece of the puzzle in Jewish law. So the Ten Commandments and everything else in the OT still stands with the exception of things Jesus specifically revolutionized, like sacrificing bulls and food considered clean or unclean...
The harsh world of the OT pointed toward a single divine sacrifice that would nullify the need for further sacrifices.
